Bad breath comes from bacteria in the mouth… the bacteria tends to grow faster if you have a dry mouth (you saliva helps kill this bacteria) .. make sure you brush your teeth regularly and floss daily… you may need to seek assistance from a dentist

it came from your tonge, try to use something to scrap your tonge, then you’ll see some white things, that’s what causes bad breath

Aside from not brushing your teeth/tongue/inside of mouth properly, other causes for bad breath could be gingivitis (an infection of the gums) or ketosis (when your kidneys cannot break down the proteins in your system and thus forms ketones which can make you very sick).

If you were suffering from ketosis you would have many more symptoms than simply the bad breath, so I’m guessing that you just need to brush better. Make sure you get the backs of your molars, all of the scuzzy stuff growing on the back of your tongue, under your tongue, the insides of your cheeks, the roof of your mouth… every surface inside of your mouth can hold bacteria.

Also make sure you FLOSS DAILY because even if you don’t see food caught between your teeth, small particles still get trapped between each tooth, which can decay and cause a bad smell.

The best daily regiment to keep your breath fresh would be to brush, floss, and swish with mouthwash (you can buy the Crest ProHealth mouthwash if normal mouthwash with alcohol is too strong for you) morning and evening, with perhaps another brushing in the middle of the day just to keep things clean. Also, drink lots of water… a moist mouth is a happy mouth.

    Good luck!

Bad breath is produced by the microorganisms in your mouth. In a very rare case, it could come from your intestinal line as well. But I don’t think that’s the case for you. You should brush your teeth regularly everyday to keep the bad breath away. It is recommended to brush your teeth at least twice; once in the morning and once just before bed.

Yes, your tongue. It can harbor bacteria causing bad breath. You can buy a tongue scraper at your local drug store and it works better than brushing your tongue.
