There are more than one reasons. The bactieria do grow. But why? Part because of our diet. Part because of food debris left in mouth. Part becuase of improper dental hygein. Part because of the water we drink.
here is my version of proper dental hygien that the dentist dont want you to know or practice.
Don’t use abrasive tooth paste very often. Rather use a water pick device with various heads and use distilled water. EVERY DAY.
Twice a week Take distilled water and pure salt and boil until saturated solution is made. Rinse several times for several minutes. While warm.
Use a high quality hydrogen peroxide mouth wash instead of alcohol mouth wash.
Also wash mouth with distilled water often. This helps remove plaque
Make sure that anything you use in your mouth is not a solvent. Like alchohol. Floride.
P.S. distilled water is not a dangerous oil disolving solvent. Although plastic bottles do have benzene that leaks into the water.
Bacterial counts do rise in the mouth while we sleep for one main reason.During sleep our salivary production decreases.Saliva has a basic or alkaline ph that hinders bacterial growth. When the human mouth has less saliva, the bacterial counts rise creating “morning breath”.Brush with colgate total before bed,it has an antibacterial agent and rinse with Crest prohealth.Floss and brush daily and scrape your tongue.Don’t worry even dental professionals get morning breath to a degree…Jill dental hygienist
