You have to let them know. If you are a good friend you have to tell them. Just be polite about it. I’m sure it’s harder for girls to tell each other than it is for guys. My friend asked me once why girls avoided talking to him, I just said probably because your breath stinks, he acted like I was joking, but than I said, no seriously. After an awkward moment he said thanks, but why didn’t you say something sooner. What’s worse one friend telling you that you have bad breath or a bunch of friends making fun of you behind your back.
