Dry mouth causes really bad breath. Do you drink enough liquids during the day? Also some mouth washes can cause dry mouth. Try some baking soda with your toothbrush and brush your tongue and teeth with it. Try those pills called (breath) (I think) cause they work from the inside of your stomach…cause that could also be the cause of it. A sour stomach.

i would ask your dentist. Do you floss every day? That helps me. It could also be something you are eating. Some foods have strange ways of causing odor. ie.. garlic and asparagus
Otherwise, chew a lot of gum.

Are you over weight? Well hydrated? Snore?
This could be the cause of what you find in your throat.
Things could go further down like your digestion track.
Use a Colon cleanser or similar product.

I have found that buying a quality toothbrush such as Sonicare and using hydrogen peroxide which gets the debris and loosens plaque helps alot. Never use mouthwashes that have alcohol in it, it only makes it worse. First swish Crest Pro Health mouthwash in your mouth {repeat at least twice} then rinse with peroxide. {repeat} add peroxide to your toothbrush and use Biotene toothpaste {its an antibacterial toothpaste, cost about $6 or $7 bucks} brush throughly. Afterwards scrap your tongue with a tongue scrapper and then using the Biotene toothpaste put a dab on tongue brush and brush your tongue, and rinse your mouth this should help you alot, this is my morning routine. and watch any alcohol intake this only makes it worse.Good luck

Halitosis is when a person’s breath is never very fresh. But also it shouldn’t be so bad. In most of the cases, the halitosis is produced by the remainders of the last meal the person has had. The more time these remainders are kept in the mouth, the breath will get worse. Also, the halitosis can be due to stomach disorders, caries or the accumulation of tartar. Sticky substance full of bacteria that usually incrust on the teeth.

Gargle a cup of lukewarm water mixed with salt or half a lemon juice. This is best done before going to bed. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. Put a few drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush top it with toothpaste, and then brush your teeth. More useful remedies at

to know how to get rid of it is to be able to know first the cause of it. after determining the cause of your bad breath, you can seek appropriate treatments for your bad breath. know that bad breath is caused by so many factors like like lack of oral hygiene, dirty mouth, eating a garlicky meal, dry mouth, medications, smoking, gum disease and stomach related problems.
proper oral hygiene can best eliminate bad breath, as well as keeping the mouth hydrated by drinking lots of water to be able to keep bad bacteria at bay. keep saliva going for it is the best defense that you can build against bad bacteria in the mouth.
if all commonsense measures did not work to stop bad breath, it is best that you talk to you dentist. bad breath does not only limit its cause in the mouth like gum disease or the lack of poor oral care. sometimes it can be caused by stomach related problems. better ask the help of a dental expert to determine the underlying cause of bad breath and get some recommended treatments. visit for more bad breath eliminating tips.
