my 13 mnth suck a pacifier and has a very unpleasant smell especially in the mornings, is it too early to introduce baby toothpaste?

    paci’s don’t cause bad breath. Does he sleep with a bottle or take one right before bed? That could be your problem because the sugars in the milk are decaying and causing the odor. You should definitely start brushing his teeth with that baby paste….oragel makes it.

    the pacifiers may produce some odour when its not cleaned properly , and its not advisable to leave the pacifier all night , since the mouth is dry all night or u dont give water after feeding before going to bed ,the mouth remains viable for the odour producing microbes as a result u get the smell …. try giving warm water after every feeding so that the oral environment is clean ,if the teeth has erupted you can use a paste as recommended by ur doc

    YUKKY
    I really do not like those things.
    Soak it over night in mouthwash and rinse it off if you have to give it to the baby.
    A gentle tooth paste is FINE. If he has teeth he should be brushing.
    You should always rinse mouth before sleeping and after meals.
