Anyone experienced bad breath with tongue piercing?

As long as there is no pain or swelling the risk of infection is pretty low. Therefore, you should probably get a better quality stud as the smell my be coming from the metal or plating on the stud. perhaps there is food stuck on it.

No, it’s definitely normal, the exact same thing happened to me. But don’t worry it’s completely normal and it’s temporary it’ll go away in about 2 weeks! Just use saline water or mouthwash a lot
The faster it heals the faster the bad breath will go away. (It’s also a good motivation to stay away from kissing a boyfriend coz you’re not supposed to… hahaha)
