You should try to eat more foods anyway. Eat some carbs and stuff.

Eating excess protein and not enough carbs can cause bad breath, yes. Your diet is terrible, I’m sorry to say. Yes, you need protein, but too much is very bad for you.

You’re probably in a state of ketosis. Not the evil, unhealthy ketoacidosis- just ketosis. That’s what your body does when you’re losing weight or changing metabolism (and probably too fast).

It makes your breath smell bad. No joke.

High-protein diets often limit the amount of carbohydrates you may eat. When your body doesn’t receive enough carbohydrates to use as an immediate source of energy, it begins to break down fat and other tissues. This releases by-products called ketones into your system. Elevated ketones can cause “keto breath,” which some have described as smelling like a combination of nail polish and overripe pineapples! Ketones are also sometimes on the breath of people who are on very low calorie diets, and patients with poorly controlled diabetes.

This just goes to show that even vegatarians/vegans can make unhealthy diet choices….

You should probably eat some FOOD every now and then.

Bad breath is usually caused by indigestion.
That is, a bad combination of food you put in your gut.
Or eating something that does not digest very well in itself, such as highly processed foods.
Sugar will also do this as it can and usually does, cause fermentation in one’s gut (the bad kind of fermentation).

If you ate your fruits and veggies and rice together, that would definitely cause indigestion. As rule, fruit is to be eaten alone, with nothing else. I don’t know what rice protein is, but why not just eat rice? instead of rice protein.
