Usually his breath smells good, you know, that baby breath smell. Well, I admit his diet is changing, more veggies, rice and those “lil entrees” Gerber Graduates. Is there a baby mouth wash?

Are you brushing his teeth morning & night? Be sure to use the “no flouride” baby toothpaste.

Baby breath isn’t ever good! Brush his teeth! It isn’t ever too early to brush the teeth that he does have…Talk with your dentist….

He’s old enough that you can start doing some cleaning–he would swallow mouthwash, but you can do some brushing. Talk to your doctor or dentist for advice.
Also, switch foods. The foods’ chemicals are interacting with his body chemistry to create that smell.

BRUSH HIS TEETH AFTER EVERY MEAL WITH NON-FLORIDE BABY TOOTHPASTE. IF HE STILL HAS NO TEETH JUST TAKE A WARM RAG AND PUT A LITTLE OF THE NON-FLORIDE TOOTHPASTE ON IT AND WIPE HIS MOUTH OUT AFTER EVERY MEAL.

i had the same problem and i took her off those entres and gave her fresh steamed vegetables and rice. that helped alot. peanut butter and crackers too. i gave her things that didnt create alot of gas. broccoli was the worst for her lol. my daughter had almost 12 teeth in and i took her to the dentist. theres no mouth wash or toothpaste but the dentist gave me a small toothbrush. so now she practices brushing her teeth but no toothpaste. and i rinse her mouth out with water. also i give her 2 wash cloths at bath time. one for her to chew on which also helps clean there gums and one to wash her up with. changing from the premade entrees to fresh veggies and fruits saved alot of money and her breath isnt as bad. try the toothbrush or wash cloth if the baby doesnt have alot of teeth or none. some leftover food in there mouth creates that odor.

Often takes time to get treated, BAD BREATH is a serious social problem for many people regardless of age and status in life. To combat bad breath you must first know what causes bad breath. It starts up from bad cavity. Brushing the teeth to remove plaque and tartar helps, as does treating canker sores that may appear on the gums and taking other steps to maintain good oral hygiene. Unless bad breath is kept under control by tooth brushing and flossing and where necessary, the use of antibacterial products at the condition will recur.
