Dump or continue dating someone with bad breath?
mystery asked:
I am really interested in someone who I had two dates with. The first date he kissed me goodnight and everything went well. The second date he kissed me goodnight and his bad breath was so overwhelming that I had to pull away and end the date. I then felt sick like I was going to vomit. I don’t want to hurt his feelings and tell him yet, I really like him but I don’t know what to do???
if you just dumped him, he would probably be confused. tell him he has bad breath. he’ll probably be embaressed but if it fixes the relationship it would be worth it
hand him a stick of gum
after the date offer him some minty gum. take a peice urself and even if he doesnt take it u will only taste ur gum!
???? ????
hope i could help!
If you really like him then I’d just tell him politely, “listen, you’ve got the breath that can stop a charging elephant. I want to hear what you have to say, I just want to hear you say it, from way over there. What did you have for lunch? A rat, a rotten egg, a turd sandwich? Whatever it was, it just singed off my eyelashes. So please barnacle breath, have some tic-tacs, thanks!”
lol oh fuck. theres no way to tell someone they have bad breath without hurting their feelings… try buying him tictacs
bring gum with you and when you are about to eat one, offer him if he wants one, and if he says..no thx, just be like..take one lol.
He only had bad breath on the 2nd date so maybe it was just what he ate that day. If the 1st kiss ended well then its clearly not a fact that he always has bad breath. I say give the guy a chance if that’s the only thing you can find wrong with him. Its something that can be easily fixed. Before you kiss next time, playfully put a stick of gum 1/2 way in your mouth and have him grab the other 1/2 with his mouth so that way you’ve both got gum in your mouth and the kiss is playful. Hope this helps!
just tell him nicely in an email or if you have his email address send him an email from a made up email address and just tell him he has halitosis and should really do something about it…I know, it’s a hard one isn’t it, especially if the relationship is new. He may need to go to the dentist or get his tonsils checked because sometimes they can hold old food and bacteria and this stinks…
Tell the person they have bad breath, and if they don’t do something about it dump them.
