I agree with all of the above answers. I want to add that there is a condition called “tonsil stones” that is not known to many people. I have that condition and it causes too much of bad breath and the remedy to that is exercise which involves jumping. I am all for eating onions. Onions are good for you, but most things that people eat are gross for your health and promote bad breath.
Eat stuff that contains chlorophyll and you won’t have this problem. Anything that is green and leafy (lettuce, spinach, celery) will take care of your breath problems in a jiffy. Also chewing on fresh herbs like mint, not candy does the trick too. I mix plain fresh cranberries with mint or lettuce and chew on it and make sure I eat lots of fruits and vegetables throughout the day. This gets rid of my bad breath for sure.
Don’t eat mint candy or chew on minty gum. This just gives you STINKY, MINTY breath. It doesn’t clean your breath
You should brush your teeth after you eat, whatever you eat. Also look for toothpastes that have anti-bacterial perilla seed or other similar substances in them. These toothpastes work long after you are done brushing. They are sold at health food stores.

first of all u should look at your diet….may be u eat stuff what ur body has difficulties to digest..second brush ur tongue everyday with a spoon to take the layer away who forms in the night…use a toootpaste possible natural but i think ur liver is not functioning propely check it…

Some of the other answers dealt with the cause. I will share some things that helped me. The Breath Therapy System by Dr. Katz is sold via mail and is now in many drugstores. I agree that the regular use of Chlorophyll helps as well. I drink some each morning with my Emergence C vitamin drink. The little Breath Assure tablets help the odors that come from the stomach. Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide help sweeten the mouth and tongue as well. Chew Parsley for a snack as it helps (the chlorophyll again).
Bacteria and left over food bits cause bad breaths. 80% of the bacteria is on the back of your tongue (gag zone). You can cure this problem by brushing your teeth every now and then, try to brush the back of your tongue as much as you can.
Sometimes simple brushing and flossing will not cure the bath breath. Some people have DENTAL DISEASE that needs to Deep Cleaned by a dentist. That is not nesserily true. Brushing the back of your tougne will cure bad breathe. My husband has really bad breath and he brushes the gag zone every time and still his breath is nasty. He even uses mouth wash and it doesn’t help. So that dr. was wrong on the video.

First what causes bad breath is bacteria. Bacteria that you miss when you brushing your teeth in the morning or at night. How you cure is very simple. I AM A RETIRED PHARMACIST AND HAVE SOLD EVERY PRODUCT MADE FOR BAD BREATH. USUALLY ORAL HYGIENE WONT STOP IT ALONE. AS MOST OFTEN BAD BREATH COMES FROM THE STOMACH! THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION IS TO SEE A DOCTOR AND HE MAY PRESCRIBE AN ANTIBIOTIC WHICH MAY PREVENT IT. ALSO OTHER TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED LIKE USING ORAL HYGENE EFFECTIVELY AND PRODUCTS LIKE ANTIBACTERIAL MOUTHWASH, AND PROPER BRUSHING OF TEETH AND BREATH SWEETNERS.

Bad breath is caused by what you eat and bad dental hygiene. When you eat burgers, fries, and onions, the smell doesn’t stop there, it continues with the digestive acids in your stomach, where the smell comes through your pores and back up through your esophagous and mouth and sinuses (nose)
I am all for eating onions. Onions are good for you, but most things that people eat are gross for your health and promote bad breath.
Eat stuff that contains chlorophyll and you won’t have this problem. Anything that is green and leafy (lettuce, spinach, celery) will take care of your breath problems in a jiffy. Also chewing on fresh herbs like mint, not candy does the trick too. I mix plain fresh cranberries with mint or lettuce and chew on it and make sure I eat lots of fruits and vegetables throughout the day. This gets rid of my bad breath for sure.
Don’t eat mint candy or chew on minty gum. This just gives you STINKY, MINTY breath. It doesn’t clean your breath
You should brush your teeth after you eat, whatever you eat. Also look for toothpastes that have anti-bacterial perilla seed or other similar substances in them. These toothpastes work long after you are done brushing. They are sold at health food stores.

The foods you eat leave a odor in your mouth. Constant brushing or mouth wash will stop it.

you can cure bad breath if you don’t eat vegetables allot is to eat more vegetables and drink more water. quick tip is to carry some mints were ever yo go just in case.

first of all u should look at your diet….may be u eat stuff what ur body has difficulties to digest..second brush ur tongue everyday with a spoon to take the layer away who forms in the night…use a toootpaste possible natural but i think ur liver is not functioning propely check it…

Some of the other answers dealt with the cause. I will share some things that helped me. The Breath Therapy System by Dr. Katz is sold via mail and is now in many drugstores. I agree that the regular use of Chlorophyll helps as well. I drink some each morning with my Emergence C vitamin drink. The little Breath Assure tablets help the odors that come from the stomach. Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide help sweeten the mouth and tongue as well. Chew Parsley for a snack as it helps (the chlorophyll again).

Bacteria and left over food bits cause bad breaths. 80% of the bacteria is on the back of your tongue (gag zone). You can cure this problem by brushing your teeth every now and then, try to brush the back of your tongue as much as you can.

Sometimes simple brushing and flossing will not cure the bath breath. Some people have DENTAL DISEASE that needs to Deep Cleaned by a dentist. Many people have this disease under their gums and do not know it. Some poeple can not prevent this disease with proper brushing and flossing because of teeth alignment, hormone changes etc. Some poeple need to clean their teeth every 3 months instead of every 6 to keep it at bay.
It is very important to for people to become aware of this disease in their mouth. You can have bone loss and loss of teeth, gum damage, or be made to get implants. Most people do not catch it untill very late.
If you have excessive bad breath even with brushing and flossing…. don’t be embarrased to see a Dentist for a scalling checkup on your gums!!!!!!!!!

bad breath absent the brain active and lungs problem so take half table hastafin at night and benoside antibiotic table only three days at night may be remove from stomach bad breath. if u go ti tree place take pranayam it is better for health.

Bad breath can be caused by different reasons. First and foremost is the lack of proper dental hygiene. Gingivitis, improper brushing of teeth and gums as well as the tongue. Stomach ulcers could also be a factor. Then there is also the kinds of food that one eats, for instance, garlic, unions etc. This sometimes can be alleviated by simply brushing right after eating and then with a mouth wash followed by mint/breath freshener.

That is not nesserily true. Brushing the back of your tougne will cure bad breathe. My husband has really bad breath and he brushes the gag zone every time and still his breath is nasty. He even uses mouth wash and it doesn’t help. So that dr. was wrong on the video.

brush with baking soda it will eat the plaque but you have to brush 3 times a day and FLOSS use mouth wash but the baking soda will also whiten your teeth as help them stay healthy

The use of Yogurt will end bad breath in people and pets…this is if bad breath is caused from souring in the stomach….
I have a parrot and learned if his breath was stinky, it was time for yogurt, found it is true for people and dogs too!

First what causes bad breath is bacteria. Bacteria that you miss when you brushing your teeth in the morning or at night. How you cure is very simple. Just make sure every morning that you brush everywhere (in your mouth). Also go for a dentist appointment regularly. And last but not least use any kind of Listerine when needed. If you remember all that stuff, your mouth should be clean and minty fresh.

Gingivitis can be a leading cause of bad breath even if you brush your teeth, gums and tongue. I have found that using a toothpaste or mouthwash that combats this gum disease really works and has lasting benefits. Also using Hydrogen Peroxide as a mouthwash (careful not to swallow) works wonders.
