How to deal with stress-induced nausea?
Over the past few months, I have become unable to control the need to vomit in stressful situations. It started whenever I would have to see my ex-boyfriend, but now I throw up in every situation that’s even a little bit stressful/nerve-wracking (parties, my senior prom, having to give a presentation). i’ll become increasingly nervous until I have to vomit, but after i’ll feel totally calm and healthy.
I don’t want this to interfere with my life; I want to be able to go to a party or on a date without needing to throw up. What, besides “taking deep breaths” can I do to avoid this episodes? Any kind of homeopathic remedies? Any tips greatly appreciated.
Bad Breath Remedy
OK the same thing happened to me when i was a freshman in highschool, on the 2nd day of school i was approached by a very popular, very hot guy that wanted to date me..so we started dating and just thinking about him would make me SOOO nervous that i would have to throw up..just knowing that next morning he would be waiting for me before class would make me sooo nervous that i would get so sick. He never knew this of course 🙂 But then after a few weeks of this daily routine, people started noticing that i was losing alot of weight..it affected me with everything…anytime something would make me nervous..it would kick in and then poof i would throw up..Long story short i had to dump him..because he was killing me haha literally but once that process has started its hard for it to stop..i mean any kind of stress can trigger it and at anytime..I mean it basically made me not want to eat anything that i knew i didnt want to see come back up later(dont mean to get graphic) 😉 but im sure you know what i mean 😉 I don’t want you to go through what i went through..i lost like 20 pounds and everyone thought i was anorexic..this of course took 6 months or so before everyone really noticed the appearance change..but i hope you wont let it take over your life like it did mine at one point. I guess just try not to put yourself in those kind of stressful situations if you can help it..i mean obviously you have exams coming up..thats unavoidable but theres always medicine..go to the dr..tell him your situation..dont be nervous about it, just say that you need something that will give you your life back so you wont be throwing up everyday..there is medicine for that 🙂 Sorry didnt mean to write you a novel..but i really want to help if i can..i hope this does!-Jen
