Tips on writing a satirical essay?

I need to use an issue of the present day like obesity or racism and then make a proposal on how to remedy this problem. But my proposal/solution needs to be ridiculous. (Just like eating babies in ‘a modest proposal’ only modernized sort of)
so any ideas for a topic or proposal? thanks
EDIT: I was thinking about america obesity…how could I solve this problem in an unrealistic/ satirical way?

We are writing satirical essays for my English IV AP class and I know someone is writing theirs over obesity also, but his is more focused on obesity in children. His remedy is to give all the obese children cocaine so they’ll lose weight. I don’t know if you can use drug references or not but that seems pretty over the top to me. haha.
