i think maybe you should just tell her
i mean you dont want her to go out in the world smelling like God knows what and her finding out you knew this whole time. just be nice about it

just say flat out. your breath smells really bad. then give her a mint. if your really her friend tell her cause if you dont someone mean will tell her and hurt her feelings.

I agree with the others just tell your friend and give your friend gum or do this give first mints,gum,mouth wash, and if she/he ask you are you trying to tell me something you will say “yes” and then explain. probably your friend has stomach problems or problems with teeth and gums.

just keep chewing gum on you and when shes near to you kindly offer her one

Its difficult for some people like yourself to tell someone something negative about themselves. Its even more difficult if its not a close friend. But with the bad breath Its no wonder your not closer.
Just offer this person some chewing gum or a mint and if they refuse say…. really take the gum. If they ask are you trying to tell me something ? say yes …..in the nicest way that i can.
If you want you can elaborate by saying …I would hope someone would tell me so Iwouldn’tt go through the whole day that way.

Always offer her a mint or other mouth refreshers and yes I agree that if she ask, then you tell her.

just tell her..what will be the worse she will be angry,not ur frnd and wat else she will do
