bog breath mints, brush her teeth, and make sure she stops digging up her own dooty (and other animals) and then eating it…does it smell like she just ate a $H!T snadwhich

Getting her teeth cleaned regularly will help a lot. They also make breath mints for dogs believe it or not. They also my chew toys for them with stuff in it to help with bad breath.

there are certain types of bones/food/treats that are directed toward cleaning the teeth and freshening breath. you should get Lora some of those- they are carried at any pet store/target/walmart etc and probably at some grocery stores too.
and having her drink a lot of water will help rid of the bad breath as well.

As with any animal, you can go out and buy something that will make the breath smell better, like dog breath mints, but the bad breath is not normal. So what you actually want to do is find out why. This could be tough, especially if it is an outdoor dog. Or if you let it wander alone outside. But I do know that it also could mean that the puppy is sick. But the number one thing that I have seen that causes bad breath in puppies is their diet. What are you feeding her. Good food??? Bad food??? pr table scraps???? If it gets out doors there could be a number of things she could be putting in her mouth that will cause it to stink. Also I recommend dry food over moist food. even in puppies. This helps in cleaning the mouth. And finally as sick as it sounds, and this stands true for almost all dogs…….If you have a cat keep your dog or puppy away from the litter box. For some reason unknown to me a dog thinks of the cat box as a buffet bar.

Your face shouldnt be that close to your dogs mouth anyways.
Dont have your dog on the furniture anymore and switch her food.

U can buy dog breath mints from pet shops. They smell meaty, but work very well. I dont know if u have a product called Greenies at ur pet shops, but they work very well.
Adding half a cup of grated carrot to ur pets food evry second or third day is also a fantastic tip and and is healthy for ur dog to. U may need ot disguise it with some canned food.
Get into a routine of brushing ur dogs teeth. They say u should brush ur dogs teeth every day. This can lead to more bad than good cause u are removing good bacteria that fights bad bacteria. Brush a max of 2 – 3 times a week. In the wild, dogs dont brush their teeth because their food naturally brushes their teeth. Buy plenty of chew toys like ropes, etc, as they clean teeth very well.
Ur dog may be eating its own poop. Just keep an eye out for it. If that is the case, buy a natural Aloe vera spray from pet stores and spray the poop when ur dog goes.

Puppies generally have a unique mouth odor due to their age and their metabolism. Normally their odor will change as they get to be adults. However, said this I would first perform a thorough inspection of her mouth to check for any signs of infection, an abscess, or any other foreign material. A veterinarian would be advisable. If all checks out inside the mouth, certain diseases (i.e. kidney, liver failure) do also cause peculiar odors. Diet also causes foul odor so changes in her intake (takes usually 2 weeks for complete dietary flush) might improve her condition. Good luck.
