yes dere is sum kitty mints dat dey can eat on and it actually makes dere breath smell betta ……. i had dat problem

They actually make breath fresheners for cats. I’ve never used them, so I don’t know how well they work, but they’re not that expensive, so it can’t hurt. Anyway, I hope it works out for you.

Halitosis, or bad breath, is an unpleasant odor coming from your cat’s mouth. Usually halitosis had oral causes, although sometimes it can be caused by other disease processes.
There are several products on the market to help you deal with bad kitty breath including cat toothbrush and paste, cat treats that can help minimize tartar or freshen cat breath as welll as kitty breath drops.
It is first important to understand and treat any underlying diseases that may be causing the foul odor. These include:
Gingivitis (inflammation of the gums)
Abscessed tooth or teeth
Bone or hair stuck in mouth
Oral ulceration
Foreign bodies in the mouth (such as plant material or grass awns)
Oral neoplasia (tumors of the mouth)
Lung diseases, such as lung cancer
Severe kidney disease
Periodontitis (inflammation of the tissue that surrounds the tooth)
What to Watch For
Oral discharge
Oral pain
Bloody oral discharge
Drooling
Dysphagia (difficulty swallowing)
Difficulty eating
Depression
Diagnosis
Veterinary care should include diagnostic tests to determine the underlying cause of the bad breath and help guide subsequent treatment recommendations. Some tests may include:
A complete medical history and physical examination
A complete oral exam, which may require a brief anesthetic
Full-mouth radiographs (X-rays) with a dental machine
Periodontal probing (a blunt probe that is used to check the gum/tooth interface) to identify gum and periodontal diseases

They have pet treats that can probably clear that up. If that doesn’t work, take her to the vet. Good luck with your kitty!

I don’t know but I bet you my DOGS breath could kill your cat….he has the worst breath none to history!

Quit feeding her fish! Give her dry kitten/cat chow which is better for her teeth anyways and give fish as a treat a couple of times a week.

Dont give the cat the food tha makes the cats have bad breath!

They’re not the cheapest cat treat on the market, but note the free sample offer on the page.
And I just picked up a bag of ‘M & C Treat-Ums Breath & Dental Care Treats for Cats & Kittens’ — you can find some details here — – and those are working pretty well, too.
High-quality food also helps a with breath (and poop), but then, there’s no such thing as ‘high-quality’ fish that smells like flowers. Just check a good pet supply store — I got the above two at a ‘PetSmart’ — for breath-specific cat treats, and see which yours prefers. The ‘Greenies’ are excellent, but, again, expensive.

There is a liquid solution that you can by at the pet store that you put into the cat’s water and it will freshen its breath and held keep the teeth clean. Don’t know how well it works haven’t tried it yet.

Had a smilar problem with my cats before. I now use Petkin’s “Liquid Oral Care” which helps fight plaque and freshen your pet’s breath. Just put a drop of it in your cat’s drinking water; wait at least 5 days to see (smell) results. But it does help. So does regular brushing of their teeth with enzyme-based cat toothpaste.
