saying that u have been to the dentist, i assume that you do not have any cavities (can cause bad breath)… try drinking water often and spaced throughout your day. be sure to brush ur tongue as well. maybe u should keep using that mouthwash.. it should help kill the bacteria

I’ve heard that the best way to fight bad breath is with your own saliva or water. Sometimes if you go overkill on the toothpaste and mouthwash it will make the smell worse. If your mouthwash was working when you used it you could try another one, just don’t use it more than you need to – it might make it worse. Hope this helps.

Bad breath may be caused by bacteria in the mouth; they produce gas. Bad breath may also be caused my odor coming from the esophagus. Bad breath is also caused by dry mouth.
Continue to use the mouth wash if it helped you before. Also you may want to get a tongue scraper because bacteria also lives on your tongue. Scrape your tongue when you brush and you will be amazed of the stuff you that’s been hiding on your tongue. If bad odor is coming from your esophagus, drink water often or eat a slice (or whole) of apple after you eat.
Dry mouth can cause bad breath so you can try mouthwash that are nonalcoholic like Crest Prohealth or ACT, drink water often to replenish or check gum after meal.

i have that same problem and all that works for me is to chew Orbit gum and eat Altoids mints. For me the mints work better. u dont have to go crazy and brush ur teeth that many times a day 2 is fine, and if ur going to any events and ur teeth have colored, then u can make and exception. NO TIC-TACS! they dont work i once time ate the whole thing right when i got it and it tasted like ur breathe would be fresh but boy was i wrong. if u need to make a breathe check then cupur hand over ur mouth, huff out, and smell it reely quick, then u can determine how many mints u need. 1-3 mints is usually a good amount of Altoids to take but when u need it bad 3-4 would be fine. Altoids might be expensive but trust me, they are worth it. if ur doc recommended mouthwash, use it in the morn, and only if u want to, at night. if u dont have any more of DOCTORS FAMOUS MOUTHWASH then get some freshmint Listerine mouthwash. also at school carry a mini toothbrush and a mini tube of Crest toothpaste. u can get all these things at CVS, Sav-On, Albertsons and a whole lot other places. dont forget to brush ur tongue when u brush ur teeth. the way to do this if u dont no is to stick ur tongue out as far as u can. and if ur like me and u where raised to brush ur teeth BEFORE u eat, eat a mint when u get to school or when u finish breakfast. i hope u find this advice helpful, right back, Kim

Do you floss at all?
Brush your tongue each time you brush your teeth.
Do you have sinus infection:
May need to seek medical attention, and make sure everything is okay.
