Getting Rid Of Halitosis or Bad Breath

Jeff Clare asked:

If you want to know more about bad breath and halitosis and whether or not you may have it, it may be best to visit your dentist to find out more about halitosis treatment. But, in the meantime, there are a few things you can do to see if you have the condition, as well as treatments that will help to get rid of the symptoms.

One of the main reasons that people get halitosis is a bacteria infection that can occur in various parts of the body or in the mouth. Bacteria in the mouth can produce gaseous substances that cause bad breath, and if you have food allergies, you may experience this if you eat a food that you are allergic to. Mouth sores or periodontal disease, which is a disease of the gums can also cause halitosis, so you will need to get an exam from your dentist to see if you have periodontal disease if you have tried a variety of toothpastes and mouthwashes.

Dry mouth is another cause of halitosis, and this can be caused by not drinking enough fluids throughout the day. You should make sure that you are drinking enough water each day, and eating plenty of fruits and vegetables each day will help you to avoid bad breath as well. Raw foods contain enzymes and antioxidants that are designed to rid the body of toxins, so a generous serving of them will most likely help you to have fresh breath throughout the day. If you are taking medications for allergies or blood pressure, you may experience dry mouth on a daily basis, which can cause bad breath and halitosis. So, you may have to increase your fluid intake to produce more saliva in the mouth, which will eliminate bacteria buildup.

In order to treat halitosis, you may want to brush your teeth with baking soda as well as toothpaste to thoroughly clean the mouth and rid it of bacteria. Flossing will also help you to rid your mouth of toxins and bacteria that can cause bad breath, and will also help you to remove food particles from your teeth that you may not be able to reach with brushing alone. You should also rinse your mouth with a strong cleansing agent, such as Advanced Listerine with germ killing powers that should work all day, and Scope, with various flavors like Cinnamon will not only give you a clean fresh feeling, but your breath will be pleasantly scented, which is ideal if you have to interact with people several times a day.

Julian Wayne asked:

Having bad breath can not only ruin your day, it can pretty much ruin your social life. Nobody really wants to get close to you when you have a bad case of “death breath.” But there is no need to fret. there’s something you can do. There are remedies you can employ to get rid of your problem once and for all. And you can try them out right in the comfort of your own home. Yes, you can say goodbye to bad breath…once and for all

1. Practice Good Oral Hygiene.

Do you brush your teeth? Do you floss them too? How often? Really, the frequency is important. One of the most common causes of bad breath is that people don’t brush and floss enough. Or they brush, but don’t floss…ever. You MUST do both, folks. No mouthwash in the world will take the place of flossing. Start with the most basic bad breath remedy: regular brushing and flossing.

2. Eat Avocados

The avocado vegetable can be a great way to beat bad breath. Most people don’t know this, but eating a little avocado can reduce the amount of your smelly output. don’t overdo it, but add a little avocado to your diet and see what happens. Most likely your breath will become much fresher.

we’re not just talking about avocados here; increasing your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables can help you fight bad breath. It concerns the reduction of the amount of animal protein that you consume. Animal protein can lead to an increase in unpleasant breath. You don’t have to become a vegetarian (unless you’re already one) but the more you fill up on veggies, the less room you have for burgers and hotdogs…and the better your breath becomes.

4. don’t Let Your Mouth Get Too Dry

You don’t need to drink constantly, but if your mouth gets too dry, that can lead to bad breath. How? There isn’t enough water in your mouth to flush out the microbes (bacteria) that can cause bad breath. So you do need to drink enough water keep your mouth moist. Finding the Right Bad Breath Remedy

RAYMOND NWAMBUONWO asked:

What is more embarrassing in life than having bad breath? The sufferers are always on the lookout for the one bad breath solution that can cure them and make things immediately better for them, but bad breath remedies are not easy to find.

Since you are on the lookout for the perfecf solution that can work for you, the best place to start is definitely the doctor. Your doctor will give you more information on what type of remedy is best for you, and also give much more solid advice than anybody else out there because they know the inn’s and outs of your body better than anybody else.

Here is a remedy or two for your own personal use. Whether or not they work for you, is really up to you, but it is important to make sure that you are doing everything you can to find the right bad breath remedy for yourself, to make sure that you’re able to have close encounters with people in a comfortable way.

First tip drink more water! Usually the number one cause of bad breath, outside of neglecting to properly brush and floss teeth is a dry mouth. If you do not drink adequate water, chances are that your stinking breath is due to the lack of moisture in your mouth, so be sure to check that out. It is very important to drink enough water for many reasons but stink breath is only one of them.

If you can not appreciate lifting a glass of water to your lips, try eating more fruit. Most fruits are packed with water and a good way to get extra water in the body. Eating lots of fruits is also a good way of altering your diet to cure your bad breath as well, which leads to another remedy.

Alter the way you eat. Consuming too much meat and very little fresh fruits and vegetables, could be part of the factors to blame for your bad breath. Try eating more fresh food and less protein is a great bad breath remedy that really works for many people, particularly those who already brush and floss on a regular basis and do not seem to have a problem drinking enough water or getting enough moisture into the body.

Get off the steak bandwagon and have a salad instead. It is a bad breath solution, and one that works. Please just try it and see. It is much easier to cure than you think.
