Question about having bad breath?

bad breath
soa’s Fate~ asked:

Ok, I have really bad breath in the morning.. everyone does. Anyways, I brush my teeth and use mouth wash everyday but my breath doesn’t stay fresh or scentless at all. It only remains like that for 2 – 3 hours and then it’s gone. Are there any tricks to have good breath, other than having to chew gum or pop a mint in mouth all the time?

  1. maybe u should go to the dentist and get your teeth cleaned.
while u are there ask him about it.
sometimes ppl have gengivitis that builds up they cant get rid of themselves.

  2. Brushing and mouthwash are good steps except most people only brush for aboit 30 seconds which wont cut it and mouthwash only covers it up unless you use a bacteria killer ( bacteria causes bad breath in the firt place) flossing etc will also help. If you find this doesn help at all then you might have sinusitis or gum disease and should seek the advice of a doctor

  3. sometimes people get ulsors in their mouth and it causes bad breath or it could just be something stuck in your gums go to your dentist

  4. bad breath is mostly caused by your tongue and side of your mouth so try brushing those and see what happens

    good luck :)!

  5. It’s probably your tounge causing the bad breath. Brush your tounge and you can also carry some listerine strips with you.

  6. You are right. Everyone has some amount of bad breath and most of us cannot smell their own bad breath. Most bad breath comes from the top of the tongue from bacteria that grows there and produce sulfur containng compounds that smell, that is bad breath. It is more noticiable in the morning because the bacteria have been growing all night. The real cure is to remove the bacteria. Mints, gums, mouthwash only cover up bad breath for a short time as you have mentioned. Cleaning the tongue with OraBrush tongue cleaner will control bad breath for up to 12 hours because it has single, individual, pointed, flexible, and soft bristles that are designed to remove the bacteria, much like a surgeon’s scrub brush.
