8 months pregnant, s.w.o.l.l.e.n feet.help?

beliz asked:

So I made it through the whole summer without a hitch, and I thought I would be lucky enough to avoid the whole feet/back things you hear so much about in late pregancy.

Then I went back to work (teacher) this week, and my god, between running back and forth to the office, copier, classroom, and bathroom, (on concrete school floors no less) my feet look like marshmallows that have been nuked in the microwave! (and they hurt like hell!)

My worry is Monday when the kids start back. This week I could at least take a rest every once in a while when things got really bad, but you can’t do that when you have 24 kindergarteners! i’m trying to watch the salt and drinking tons of water (it’s also hard to take bathroom breaks when you’re a teacher, but that’s a whoooole ‘nother issue!)

Are there any magic remedies or tips out there that might help get me through to October, or is it just wishful thinking?

  1. Bad Breath Remedies

Ask if you can get an assistant to help you to let you rest and stay off your feet as much as possible. I taught kindergartner before so I know how much you will be on your feet. Do they still have kindergartners take naps. If so when you put them down have something you can put your feet up. Sit and teach your class as much as possible. Good luck.

when i was pregnant with my son, my feet blew up like balloons! i seriously didn’t even have kankles… it was like knees, then toes lol. i would put my feet in cold water, think like the temp of a pool, then keep them elevated whenever possible.

i hope that helps, good luck!
