  1. Yes, it is true alcohol is bad in mouthwash. It is used to keep the bottle pretty and bright, and not turn funky on you. The alcohol also dries out your mouth, promoting bacterial growth.

    Rinses such as Crest Pro Health do not contain alcohol, do not dry out your mouth, and are better at controlling bacterial growth. Less bacteria, better breath.

    It does no good to kill them and then let the alcohol make more of them grow.
