I don’t think they know their breath is bad…or maybe they can’t fix it.
I look away when they talk
I truly think they are oblivious…scary
not always sometimes it can be genetic
I think no one has told them.
I pull out gum or mints and give some to myself and then out of “courtesy” offer them some.
Hopefully they take it, if not, the conversation is over. I immediately have to “do something that I totally forgot to do earlier”
hahaha
just be like ur breath smells then laugh but not in a mean way say it nicly cause bad breath is gross!
lolo
or offer them a mint like u said….. haha
it depends, but over all how could you not know it is your body.
I dont think a lot of them know they have bad breath.Sometimes medication or medical problems like stomach conditions can effect their breath.
Good lord I wish there was an easy answer to this. I had to sit next to a woman at church once that sang her little heart out and her breath about had me vomiting.
Well after awhile it seems they don’t even notice that they have bad breath. If you’ve ever passed a pig farm you’ll smell a terrible odor but if you stop and ask the farmer how he can stand the smell? He will more than likely say what smell? It seems that once someone is exposed to a strong odor they seem to adjust and not notice.
I think they just don’t think its bad. People don’t like to tell others that their breath stinks. I know I don’t like to, I just ask them if they have any gum. If they say yes, I ask them to split it with me. If i know them, like a relative, then I’m blunt and say something mean. ha ha.
First of all, unless they ate onions, garlic and the like, then I do not think they know they have bad breath. However, I have on ocassion got out my mints, took one for myself and offered – unfortunately, they usually don’t take it – then I whip out my gum and say “oh would you rather have gum instead”. But I am very polite as I was raised that way.
Then I just try to keep them out of my personal space – you know, that place when two people meet face to face and you can feel their breath on your face – that is my PERSONAL SPACE – and I will step back if anyone is in it that I don’t want there.
Of course, my hubby is always welcome in my Personal Space and I welcome that.

I don’t think they realize how bad it is and sometimes if it’s a health issue they can’t always address it. I have a friend who has bad breath and it’s from her teeth and due to no dental insurance or money she can’t really address the issue right now and take care of the problem.
No, it is a fact that people become desensitized to their own breath. It would be rude to slap them, just carry a surgical mask for just such a purpose! They may get the hint or not.
no I don’t know any one with a problem like this. And many people go threw stuff like this* I my self am always chewing gum or a mint* lol
Yes. I think it’s a form of passive aggressive terrorism.
it is alright
Yes,because I always tell them when they are around me.
I carry mints all the time too, but I don’t give them a choice, I hand them one
Secretly I think those type of folks work on commission & get paid by Gum & Mint manufacturers. As it forces people to Check ‘Yo self!
No, they appear to be clueless they have bad breath. I do avoid them because I do not want to gag on their bad breath. I do not snap at them when offering a mint, but I do offer it to them second time if they refuse.
