I have a friend he is 16 years old.
Hes breath smells extremly bad especialy when we are in a tight place like bus or something hes smell go like a few meters even other people feel it.
He knows he has bad breath and tryed everything to cure it:
1. by himself at home cleaning 3 times+floss+tongue +water with salt for tongue + on bus parsley/gum(Orbit/Winterfresh/and others) EXTREMLY MUCH WATER he drinked water like each 30 seconds in bus
2.He got to dentist no luck….
I really want to help him as hes my best friend.
Also I don’t know if it matters but hes breath smells very bad when he breaths on nose He don’t need to talk to feel hes bad breath he just need to breath…..
So please any suggestions??
at least some mask for time on buss and stuff as hes very emberassed and avoid talking to me cause he go mo further from me and dont speak to me on transportation as it says I don’t want people to think it’s from U + I don’t want to make U suffer…

What can cause REALLY BAD breath aside from a germy mouth?

Okay, so my breath really stinks sometimes, and it’s not because i haven’t brushed… i always brush my teeth, tongue, the works. I do have my tonsils but they look pink, not white or bumpy. I don’t smoke, i don’t eat garlic or onions. It stinks so bad that people can smell it even with my mouth closed apparently the air that comes out of my nostrils smells too.
I think it’s something in my stomach, cause it does feel a little acid sometimes, but at others i don’t even feel it and people tell me i smell! Also, i don’t stink all the time. I don’t have rotten teeth or cavities. What could be causing this? What can i do to get rid of it?

I do not know what is causing this gross taste in my mouth. It is bitter, a little tingly, tastes so bad, and makes my breath smell putrid. I am brushing my teeth 3 times or more a day and I gargle with a non-alcoholic mouthwash. Listerine does not work. The taste comes back quickly after brushing and scraping my tongue.

This has been going on for the past two weeks!! I haven’t been eating differently. I have had some constipation and, sorry, diarrhea, but that can’t be it!! i’ve had those before with no stinky breath and bitter mouth problems! What could it be?
