Y2J and RKO rule the wwe asked:
Should i just put a little little tab of close up tooth pace on a tooth brush and try to brush his teeth
or what would you recommend.
the cat is very very healthy. he wakes me up ever morning at 7:00 sharp just to eat. he drinks plenty of water.
I have another cat thats a female and she don’t have bad breath.

I would have the vet take a look. Your cat could have a dental issue. Issues with cat’s teeth can lead to kidney failure due to high levels of bacteria. The vet may not find anything but it’s an inexpensive exam and it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Give the cat treats that are designed to fight plaque and bad breath. DO NOT give the cat toothpaste for any reason. The mintiness found in most toothpastes with cause the cat discomfort and can be toxic.
It could be mouth rot and most cases it ends up being that! Get your kitty to the vet.
“The cat is very, very healthy” because he eats and drinks water and APPEARS healthy or because a vet has told you so?
Bad breath in a cat is not normal and not something you should try to mask with toothpaste. It could be an infected tooth, gum disease, kidney disease or even cancer. So get this cat to a vet to be checked out. Cats are VERY good at hiding when they’re ill – it’s instinctual. But that doesn’t mean your cat is OK.
idk. i’ve never had a cat with bad breath. but i’ve got a dog with the worst breath ever!
