Take a travel bottle of mouth wash to work. Make sure you use it after every meal.
Also, try buying some mints or gum to help mask the odor when you are around people.
Gargle regularly.
Take an acidophillus supplement daily to keep your digestive flora healthy and buy some good breath gum or breath mints to suck on and chew. Be sure to use a good mouthwash and buy yourself a water pik and a tongue scraper as those may help too.
Brush with baking soda. Gargle and swish with salt water. Stay away from coffee and sweets.
Clean your tongue regularly, use tooth brush or you can buy tongue cleaners. This has worked for me.
OK, firstly if you are so distressed you should try mouth wash to mask the smell. Ask for a strong mouth wash that can kill a lot of bacteria. Try those branded ones, they may be a tad bit expensive, but they do the job fast and well. Remember, its because of the bacteria in your mouth ( including those that reside in the tongue ) that makes such a bad smell. If you need to move around a lot, get a water bottle and carry your mouthwash around. Or mint can help too. Tongue cleaners are not a bad idea either. Bacteria does reside on the tongue too. If all else fails, just dont open your mouth(kidding).
When this happens with my kids we find out they had a sinus infection. The bad breath starts 1st, then they gets sick or congested weeks later. We have confirmed it with CAT scans. You might have something else besides your teeth causing the problem. They keep a piece of gum hidden in their mouth to help absorb the odor. My daughter likes eating pickles & lemons to kill the smell too. I see how upset & embarrassed they get. Hope this helps you.
Have you been to your regular doctor to see if there’s something else going on that may be causing your bad breath? If you’re brushing and flossing regularly then that should take care of the offensive breath. Sometimes an infection shows itself as bad breath (sinuses) or some type of other medical condition. Have you tried rinsing with diluted hydrogen peroxide? My dentist recommends it. Also try baking soda – it tastes horrible but it is good for your teeth and gums. You could try Listerine or some other medicated mouthwash to see if that helps. Are you irritating your gums by brushing and flossing so often? If you are, then cut back to two to three times a day and use a gentle brush and floss gently. Sometimes irritated gums can cause mouth odor.
Eating yogurt sometimes helps with breath issues – it has to do with with the good bacteria. Stay far away from anything containing sugar – it will help your breath briefly and then it will make it much worse. If I were you, I’d indulge in everything garlicky I could get my hands on as the garlic will disguise the rancid breath odor and you always have the excuse of having just had some great Italian food.
Try starting at the top of your answers and try each one in turn – you will probably find a few that work for you.
In the mornings, try oil pulling for 15 minutes with some Sunflower of Sesame oil. Following that, gargle 1 part Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with 3 parts water. Finally drink lots of water throughout the day! I hope this helps.

barring any health problems where bad breathe is a side affect, the best way to virtually solve & prevent it is to BRUSH YOUR TONGUE everytime you brush your teeth. look at the color of your tongue. if it’s not a natural redish pinkish color, and it has a whitish film over it, then your breathe is probably not very fresh, if not completely bad. over 90% of bad breathe germs are on the tongue. this is a proven fact. this is why you see those “tongue scrapers” at your local drugstore, now. but, you don’t need one of those. a good, old fashioned toothbrush works just as well, if not better. then, follow by gargling w/ a mouthwash that’s approved by the american dental association. those that earn that approval are better at killing germs cuz they’re proven to fight gingivitis vs. the ones that are not. also, after you eat, if you’re unable to brush, always rinse your mouth out well w/ cold water. not only does this help to get rid of any stray food particles, it helps to keep the temperature of your mouth down which will the slow the growth of bad breathe germs. and, always keep a small pack of listerine breathe strips in your pocket. these go right on the tongue & help to kill germs & freshen the breathe. stay away from the dark colored ones though, e.g. blue. otherwise, you’ll be walking around w/ a blue tongue like a kid that just ate a popsicle. try these steps out. you’ll notice an immediate difference.
A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at
