  1. get them a dental procedure at the vet.

for a quick fix, there are breath control chews at the pet store.

    brushing their teeth also helps

    good luck!

  2. I heard you can put a few drops of peppermint concentrate in their water. You should find it near the vanilla essence. I haven’t tried it but I’m told they generally like it and it can help with the smell.

  3. I had a dog, a doberman. Her breath stank!!! I took her to the vet for another problem & he noticed her breath & pulled a rotten tooth. She was great after that & seemed thankful.

  4. My year and a half old Basset hound has the worse breath ever. I take a breath strip and laid it on her tongue. At first she hated it, now she begs for them.

  5. Get the knotted rope toy at your pet supply, or the Hartz ones at your grocer’s. Don’t get the dollar store ones. Soak it a few minutes in a can of broth, and dry it overnight. Give this to him, and it will clean his teeth quite well, and reduce bad breath. Its like flossing. He will most likely like it after being soaked in broth, but if he doesn’t, rub a little cheese spread or peanut butter into it to get him started.

  6. It could be due to a stomache problem or another medical problem.

Please be careful if you feedthem greenies tho, those can cause intestinal blockages.

  7. get those doggie mints at the check out counter i got them for my grandpa’s cockers and their breath was like fish! and they ate it and it smelled like good so i would get those.

  8. my brother used to work for alltech biotechnology. they had a product called deodorase. it was used to feed to poultry and livestock so their sh*t wouldn’t stink. his dog had some breath issues so he sprinkled it over the dog food and it took care of the problem!
