look for a dog biscuit that can teeth cleaners in them
Just get used to it. I do.
they have new doog food that has little breath mint doggy food in it yo can buy it at any place that sells dog food. call your local store.
they also have minty god chew toys. and bones.
you can usally get those at pet stores.

Theres this liquid thing that they sell in pet stores that you can put in there water and it cleans teeth and freshens breath, its safe for them to drink too. Just go to your pet store and ask for something like that.
well i don’t know if your suppose to do this or not but i would personally just brush the dogs teeth with a common tooth brush and some tooth paste
go to pets mart and go to the vet in the store and get dental care for your dog, or buy the dog a dog toothbrush and brush it’s teeth.
Some dogs don’t produce an enzyme that prevents bacterial growth in their mouth. I hate to say it, but you should keep shopping for a vet to clean the dogs teeth. I only pay $80 and that includes anesthesia. There are special treats and food that will help but regular brushing is a must.
You could clean her teeth… Much cheaper and you can get all the tools at the pet store.
The biscuits that claim they help, really don’t do much good.
brush its teeth with tooth brush. give a tums once a day. hard food or change food brand. soup bones at store(freeze n give it to chew on) clean area when done
Get some dog treats that freshens breath. And brush her teeth. It really does help. Good luck!
Well i have them .. lol yo go to petco or wherever you but supplies for the dogs and they have dog mints lol and also bones make them stronger and they clean there teeth lol =D

petsmart charges $10 to clean their teeth! they also sell doggie breath mints i use them for my dog and have his teeth cleaned like every 2 weeks
Petzlife is amazing. The plaque will literally fall of its teeth. Do a search online for it. It is a gel that you put in the dogs (or cats) mouth. It works really well.
Another thing that works is raw beef marrow bones. The kind you use for soup.

there is a type of dog food in a small bag at wall-mart for dogs with bad breath,but only feed it to him/her two times a week or his/her system will get used to it and it wont work as well.Have fun and take care.Your welcome.
1)give her bones,
2) don’t feed her just wet food / don’t feed her crappy food
3) brush her teeth , there are special toothpastes you can use for dogs
4)get your dog checked for other problems, bad breath can indicate other health issues
They do sell doggie toothpaste & toothbrushes at pet supply stores. It costs a little bit, but far less than the vet charges. My dog liked the toothpaste okay (it’s flavored) & it did make a difference. So you might try brushing your dog’s teeth yourself before you spend $100s on it. I would imagine the vet cleaning would be really thorough, though.
Bad breath could be a sign of some underlying disease or disorder or could be from a chipped tooth infected with bacteria. Have you gotten a checkup recently? It may be worth just an office visit to get an idea of what is going on.
There is a vaccine for dogs who have dental problems and $180 to clean teeth is pretty reasonable. I have seen prices in the $700 range for senior dogs. You can do it every few years depending on your dog.
You can also try brushing your dog’s teeth with a dog toothpaste and a soft tooth brush and see if that helps.

WOW what breed of dog is this that they charge so much money. I have a 90lb Berner and it cost me $100 to get her teeth cleaned.
As far as bad breath, check her teeth. This is what happened to me this past weekend.
This past summer she ate a popsicle stick. It was stuck, jagged side down between her gum and her back molar. The vet pulled it out and everything has been fine. I would notice once in awhile that her breath would have a bad smell to it. I would check her mouth and didn’t see anything.
I was at an Obedience seminar this past weekend and on Sunday I noticed her gum bleeding, a bad odor and junk all around her back tooth. I took her to the vet Monday and she said to bring her in on Tuesday. They would have to sedate her to get a look at her tooth to find out what was wrong. Apparently the popsicle stick created a pocket between her tooth and gum and exposed the root. When she would eat, food would get down into this pocket (which is where the bad smell come from) and pretty much sit there and rot. The vet removed the tooth because there wasn’t anyway to cover the root back up and close the pocket. . They put 4 stitches in her gum which should disappear in a couple of weeks.
I know there are other reasons for dogs having bad breath, but this was my experience….

pet stores or even target and walmart sell these chewy bones in the shape of a toothbrush that dogs can eat which is suppoed to help their breath
or brush the dogs teeth they sell stuff for that at pet stores
there are some good answers that may help withthe breath however do realize that often the bad breath is due ot teth and gum problems.
A dog with severe mouth probelms can get severe infections and you will then think that the small amount of the dental cleaning would have been cheaper.
I know it’s expensive but the best is either go to your vet or possibly call around to see other prices. But get teh teeth done then get some of these other suggestions and try to prevent it from getting as bad again.

I had one dog that Itried to hold off on I ended up having to do the teeth cleaning and have my dogs eye removed due to an infection that started in teh mouth. I won’t even say how much that ended up costing.
