I have seen a lot of posts on bad breath but none worked for me. I have terrible smelling breath and i am told that it smells like mold (but worse). my basement is festering with mold and i used to be down there a lot. up untill about a year ago my breath was fine but then one day my mother noticed that it smelled horrible almost like mold. i asked my friends if they smelled anything ever but they said they hadnt. then as time went on some people i know began to smell it and told me how horrible it smells. now i cant go out without a piece of gum, and im terrified to look at someone when i speak to them because im afraid my breath will waft (not to mention how terribly self conciouse i am when kissing someone). i have been taking a product called Three Lac, a sort of yellowish powder you pour in your mouth and it seems to get rid of t he bad smell somewhat but not fully, and if i stop taking it my breath gets bad again. i cant imagine how happy id be if i got rid of thisproblem
I have really bad breath and im told it smells like mold. please help its wrecking my life?
Curious asked:

Go see a doctor.
well ur best bet would be go to a dentist the dentist will help you out,if that doesnt work trie a health doctor
Colgate came out with this really good “toothbrush, tongue scrubber” all in one. It’s not really that expensive. Try it out. I think it’s called “Colgate 360” It’s a toothbrush with a toungue scruber on the other side to get rid of that nasty bacteria that causes bad breath. On your toungue and on the insides of your cheeks.
do u brush your tongue and gargle with bleach?
That mold in your basement is dangerous…get out now. Have some inspectors look at it they might have to clean it professionally, do not do it yourself!!!!!!
Go see a dentist.
Have you tried using a tongue-scraper? That’s where most of the bacteria that cause bad breath live, on the tongue, try finding a good plastic scraper that you can use. That + mouthwash + brushing regularly usually clears it up, but if it doesn’t you might have something more serious..
Serious bad breath can be caused by bacteria in your mouth. Or, quite often, because of some stomach issue. Your guts stink and so the smell travels up your esophagus and out your mouth. You should probably see a doctor about it, you could have something wrong with you that could possibly be fixed.
I think gargling with hydrogen peroxide will help. Or mixing baking soda with water and gargling that. Or mixing hydrogen peroxide with baking soda and gargling THAT will help.
I’m sorry I don’t remember which one it is, but try them all, they are powerful ingredients. You can find the hydrogen peroxide in the first-aid isle of the grocery store I think. If nothing else works, go to the dentist and see what he says. Good luck!
you eat a wrotten crotch lately? if so get a mouthful of alcohol and hold a match up to it.
Wish I was a doc. Id suggest seeing one. This is all I could find.. hope it’s of some help.
Try flossing, then rinsing your mouth out, then brush, scrape your tongue, gargle with mouth wash, then rinse again, and that should help atleast a little.
Brushing your teeth helps, of course I am sure you do that already. If you don’t floss already that really helps. In fact it even helps reduce blood pressure. If this continues I would suggest seeing a doctor or dentist about your problem. They might even prescribe a medication.
Go to the doctor. It isn’t normal.
1.Well…what about a big cup full of juicy MOUTH WASH!
(Trie and not spill it ALL out, or else you’ll be a falier!!)
2.Go and bye a humongest tooth brush and go and bye the smallest toothpast you’ve ever seen. And go home amd after your dinner, get the things you bought and put ALL the toothpast on your tooth brush and scrub it popperly on your teeth.
3.Go to a DOCTER and ask”How do I brush my teeth?”.
4.If you didn’t pass any of the things above, well, you will have to live your whole life with moldy smallie BREATH!
Bad breath is caused often because you haven’t brushed and flossed well .If you don’t keep teeth and gums free of the bacterial buildup, they’ll start to cause odor as the bacteria rot leftover food particles in your mouth. A few seeds of cardamom chewed for a brief while will clear your mouth of bad breath. Chew parsley leaves, which are sure to keep your breath fresh. More useful remedies at
do not rely on gums and breath mints, they can even make bad breath worse since it contains sugar, it can stimulate bacterial production. you should have good oral hygiene, such as careful brushing and proper flossing. drink plenty of water to keep the mouth hydrated. have lots of bad breath tips for you.
I think you have a dental problem…. Not a mold sucking air problem… Got to the dentest and don’t worry about stinking breath to him he deals with this every day… Good luck Grant in Pennsylvania
