Learn to love it or carry mints. Offer one constantly until he takes one.

Breath mints are the way to go.. u need to tell him otherwise this will become a problem for ye
hint to him…like if ur stood in a queue or talking to someone, go back to your boyfriend and say ” godh she has horrible breath – its like she hasnt brushed her teeth this morning…people should really be aware of their breath” and then offer hima mint….or u could make sure that just before he wants to kiss you (you’ll have to guess) just offer him a mint?!
or while ur kissing have a mint in ur mouth so while ur kissing u can pass it into his mouth!
or you could just be plain, obvious and straight to the point and tell him that u think his breath is abit smelly and it is putting you off kissing him – im sure hed rather u tell him and want to kiss him than never tell himand you always be awkward about kissing him
Offer him a mint/gum all day until he takes one or you could be honest and just say you no babe i think your breath stinks a lil you might wanna take a mint you have to be cruel to be kind good luck
Tell him nicely. If he’s your boyfriend, you should be able to be honest with him. Even if the truth hurts sometimes, I believe honesty really is the best policy. Maybe you could tell him how much you enjoy kissing him and that he’s a great kisser. And that when he brushes his teeth or has a mint, it just drives you crazy and you find it very sexy.
If it really bothers you then you should tell him.
The thing is that he will probably feel kind of embarrassed – who wouldn’t – but at least this will cause him to change and you will not have to go through so much torture. True that he will take some sort of offense but if he really likes you – he would know that he doesn’t want to make you suffer so he’ll change for sure.
How you do it just be blunt. “Um, can you start carrying mints and be more hygienic with you mouth because a clean mouth is something that I care a lot about in a guy and it doesn’t seem like you keep up with it. Sorry if this sounds bad but it’s just something I have to say. Like sometimes I don’t even want to kiss you because it makes me feel kind of gross. So could you do this for me? Please?” Something similar to that would be a nice way to let him down.
Now think if you don’t say anything and start avoiding the kisses. He will think something is up, get paranoid, and then he’ll probably think something worse than his breathe being bad is the issue. If you ever did tell him, he might have been expecting something worse and might not believe you. So do it now. As the saying goes “the sooner the better.”
this is a no win situation,no matter how tactfully you tell him hes going to be hurt embarrassed.guys egos bruise easily .i dont know how much you like this guy or how long you have been together id dump him hun, find another reason and move on. nothing worse than kissing someone with bad breath
Just tell him his breathe stinks,and tell him you want him to brush his yellow teeth.Honesty is the best policy,its better to hear it from you than someone else who might be cruel about it.Good luck!
typical (probably overwiehgt) american slateing the british teeth most of us have good if not better oral hygene then most, brush teeth and tongue using mouthwash as well as a saltwaterm outh wash to kill infection etc. and to heal my tongue piercing haha – and soon to be secodn tongue piercing.
just tell him to brush his teeth better, brush his tongue and usem outhwash, brushing your tongue makes a BIG difference
if his basic dental hygiene is good, then he may have a rotten tooth that hasn’t hit the nerve, giving him pain that would tell him he needs to see a dentist. have him swish a mouthful of very cold water around and over his teeth. if he winces, like from a sharp pain, then he needs to see the dentist.
but what ever the reason, you should get him to brush his teeth. one day when he gets the urge to kiss you, you get the urge to brush your teeth. this will help you with the cover up smell, and after a moment or two, you won’t notice any bad breath from him. he may comment on the minty fresh taste it has. keep this up every time he tries to kiss you, then after a few times, ask him to brush his, or, play a game with him that he doesn’t know you are playing – tell him you are thinking of going to school to learn how to be a dental hygienist. “so will you let me brush your teeth? hmmm will ya baby? hunh?. pleeeaase. then keep it up until you are satisfied that you don’t have to brush before you kiss because he either went to the dentist and got that tooth fixed, or now he regularly brushes.

to say hes not hygeinic is harsh. some problems of bad breath can origenate from the tonsils were food gets trapped, telling him nicely and asking him to see a doc is the better option
Just suggest him to brush, and floss his teeth. Also, tell him to rub his tongue frequently. You can remind him to have a mint strip before kissing. I always do it when kissing my girl friend. Our french kiss last up to 10 minutes because we both have good oral care! Good luck mate!
