  2. my dog had the same thing. most likley has a rotten tooth. take her to the vet and they will most likley tell you

    if its not they can surley give you something!

  3. Whenever I have no idea what to do about a pet’s situation, I call Petsmart and ask for advice. They are amazing.

    Or go to your local pet store and ask them which products they have for doggy breath.

    I would tell you to brush his teeth and stuff, but you said you already tried it.

  4. Maybe you should look into it further, maybe she has tooth decay, or perhaps a stomach issue with her food. Talk to your vet, or try a different kibble.

  5. Do you feed her mostly soft foods ?? If so, there isn’t enough friction on her teeth to control the growth of plaque and her teeth are starting to decay…Some dogs just have tooth decay issues and will lose their teeth…This is very painful…Please take her to the vet and let them have a look…It may be as simple as one bad tooth that needs to come out.. 🙂

  6. Take him to get his teeth cleaned. It’s bad for dogs to get bad breath it means they may have gum disease. little dogs get it worse than big dogs. My Mom’s Yorkie gets her teeth cleaned every month, she has cleaner teeth than most humans lol

  8. Take her to the vet to see if she has any dental/mouth problems. If you since you’ve tried cleaning her teeth, and give her chew toys, her bad breath could be a sign or the start of a number of different dog medical conditions and diseases.
    How old is she?

  9. Bad breathe is normally caused by what your dog has been eating, try changing his diet. It could also be a build up of plaque on his teeth but if you are brushing this shouldn’t be the cause. Try him with raw hide treats, plus you can buy treats that are specifically made for teeth cleaning and breath freshening.
    If nothing works then he could have tooth decay and you should see the vet. Tooth decay is more common in small breeds, it is also a sign of kidney damage and liver disease.
    I think it would be best to see the vet and find out exactly what the cause is.

  12. Bad breath is due to plaque build up/tartar. The only way to remove tartar is by getting a dental cleaning from your vet. Brushing the teeth will delay tartar build up but will do nothing to remove the hard stuff on the teeth already there. Once you have had a dental then brushing the teeth DAILY will help cut back on it much more. Then you can start using greenies etc. to help as well. Keep in mind that you need to be current on vaccines to go for a dental. Since your dog is small he/she may require extractions, very common in small dogs. Keep that in mind as well when you go. Breath mints or anything else will just disguise the smell not solve the problem.

  13. go to any pet sho and ask them 4 breth mints.they are just like chewable treats 4 the dogs but they makr the dog’s breath smell nice.u can also brush the dog’s teeth.buy any cheap tooth brush with soft bristles and wet it and lift the dog’s gums ang gently brush its teeth.U can sometimes evem get toothpaste 4 dogs.but be shure not 2 give him human toothpaste.if u want ask the pet store owner if he has dog toothpaste

  14. If this is a young pup, you need to be worried, as it could be an abscess or other infection.

    If it’s an older dog, it’s normal- but you need to take the dog to the vet for a cleaning- this is the only *real* way to clean their teeth. Just like humans, we can brush all day long, but it’s that cleaning that keeps our teeth healthy.
