My dog’s breath smells like crap. Literally.
i’ve tried sprays, mints, bones that are supposed to help..
None of them last longer than 5 minutes.
What more can i possibly do ?
try changing his diet, maybe it is the food he is consuming and maybe his gums are rotting. so check his teeth and gums for flamation and weird coloring
take him to the vet and get his teeth checked out, bad gums/breath can be a sign of a bad heart or maybe he just needs his teeth cleaned
brush their teeth…

Get your dog to the vet for a check up. The bad breath could be a sign of something serious. If not, the vet can tell you how to proceed to make the breath better.
try the dog toothbrush and paste and see if that works.
Well maybe you should try changing his food or watch your dog to see if he eats any other things besides just his dog food.

have him eat dog food it makes it smell like dog food
I agree with Kate however I would suggest starting with the basics. I assume you take him for his regular check ups and he is otherwise in good health. He may have the beginning of peridontal disease which is reversable if caught in time. I would definitely start brushing his teeth. Daily. I do for my dogs and they LOVE it. I use the poultry flavored toothpase at They just eat it up! No pun intended. Good luck!
