  1. maybe you need to talk to your dantiest and see what wrong cause it seems to me you hava a gum deseaies or something

  2. Visit your dentist and double check you don’t have an infection or gum disease. Bad breath can also be caused by problems with the stomach so a visit to your doctor might be needed if your mouth is well.

  3. are you also flossing when you brush your teeth? Flossing is so important because it gets out all the nasty food that is stuck between your teeth that sits there are rots at night. That could be what causes the smell but if anyone tells you that they don’t have morning breath they are lying because EVERYONE gets it so a bit is normal. Keep up the good work with not smoking and drinking coffee because not only will that make your breath smell it will stain your teeth. YUcky!!!!!

Also try brushing after meals during the day and make sure you brush your tongue all the way in the back. Some people don’t know to do that. I had to teach my bf how to do that at age 26!!!!!!!!

  4. Bad breath is often caused from bacteria that lurk under your tongue, on the surface of your tongue and can also come from bacteria under your gum tissue.

Stop using antibacterial mouthwash if you do!! Seriously. Especially mouth rinses with alcohol in them. They can be very irritating to soft tissue. Unless your dentist recommends a specific mouth rinse designed to fight periodontal disease, mouthwash can cause an imbalance of good bacteria and bad bacteria in your mouth. Both are necessary for a healthy mouth. If you are using it for fresher breath, try an over the counter mouth rinse called Closys. It is designed specifically for bad breath and really works.

Be sure to brush your tongue and floss. Bacteria can be trapped between your teeth and be a source for yucky breath if left to breed more colonies.

If you have sinus issues, consider a nasal irrigation. Gross I know, but the sinuses are closely linked to the mouth and can contribute to bad breath.

Last, be sure you get your teeth cleaned on a regular basis. Infections can be present in teeth and gums that you are unaware of. Infections can obviously cause very bad breath.

  5. You ask a very good question. The answer is in knowing the real cause of bad breath. Up to 90 percent of bad breath comes from the tongue, not the teeth, where bacteria grow and produce sulfur containing compounds that smell, that is bad breath. Smelly food, such as garlic, liquids such as coffee, smoking, etc., also cause bad breath because they collect on the top of the tongue. All people have bad breath in the morning because the bacteria have been growing all night. The cure for this is to clean the top of the tongue using a tongue cleaner that has both a brush and a scraper. Good oral hygiene includes brushing and flossing the teeth and then cleaning the tongue to completely remove the materials that collect in the deep indentations of the tongue surface. Learn more at
