Aubreeyyy<3 asked:
I wake up in the morning with a taste in my mouth like I want to puke. If I brush my teeth in the morning and then eat after that, my breath smells horrible again. I floss and even use mouthwash, and nothing works. And I brush twice a day!
WHAT TO DO PLEASE!?!?
I really need some help :[
Thank you guys so much! that’s great advice, but do you possibly know the name of a great mouthwash or toothpaste that would help?

Usually bad breath is caused by small pieces of food stuck in between teeth. This sits in your teeth all night and eventually makes your breath smell.
Maybe try an electric toothbrush and make sure you are getting in between, behind and the front of your teeth. Also brush your gums and tongue.
Eat and then brush your teeth.
Could be a fungal infection you should see your family doctor. There are many types of fungus that grow on and in the human body without causing harm but ones that spread in the mouth can cause halitosis (bad breath). Your doctor will take a swab from your tongue and if needed give you steroids of cure it.
Morning breath is caused by dry mouth, which every one has at night. Plaque thrives at night because there isn’t as much saliva in your mouth to wash it away.
If your breath is really that bad, then brush the roof of your mouth and your cheeks as well as tongue, gums, and teeth. You should start flossing after you eat to remove any food scraps between your teeth that start to rot in your mouth if not removed. Also, if you’re not “going” regularly, the scent can actually rise up from your intestines out of your mouth. Hope this helps. Happy holidays!
There is really nothing you can do about morning breath completely. The germs that cause bad breath are constantly growing inside your mouth. Even after you brush your teeth. During the day you are constantly swallowing. This washes away the germs for the most part. At night while you are sleeping, you don’t swallow nearly as often and the germs have a chance to sit and grow and thrive. This is what causes the icky smell.
When you brush your teeth at night be sure to brush your tongue or use a tonge scraper. The germs that cause bad breath stick to your tongue more so than your teeth so be sure to get it squeeky clean. And then use a good mouthwash. This should help alot but nothing will eliminate it all together.
Mouthwashes only have a temporary effect. Try rinsing your mouth with lime juice mixed with water. It’s a little-known home remedy that prevents bad breath.
Up to 90 percent of bad breath is caused by bacteria that grow on the top of the tongue and produce smelly compounds, that is bad breath. That is why your breath is stronger in the morning because the bacteria have been growing all night. Smelly foods, such garlic, liquids, such as coffee, or smoking can also cause bad breath. Good oral hygiene is to brush and floss the teeth and then clean the top of the tongue with a tongue cleaner that has both a brush and a scraper so you will remove all of the stuff that is held in the deep indentations on the top of the tongue. Mints, gum, mouthwash just cover up bad breath for a short time. Learn more about the cause and cure of bad breath at:
