It is embarrassing to ask someone to check my breath. How can I find out on my own?

  1. I saw this question being asked on tv once. Apparently the breathe into your hand then smell doesnt work… you still end up just smelling your hand-lol. They said the best way to know is when you floss your teeth- you can smell it then. And on a final note- one of my fav sayings- “you dont have to floss all your teeth…. just the ones you want to keep” ha 🙂

  2. Ick!! Just chew gum or take Altoids to be on the safe side, and don’t forget to brush you teeth

  3. Lick the back of your hand and then smell it. Apparently it is representative of what your breath smells like.

  4. Just cup your hand over your open mouth and nose and breathe out of your mouth and you should be able to tell.

  5. floss your teeth with your hand and then smell your finger, but dont forget to wash after that

  6. You can find out if most of the people you talk to begin to cover their nose while talking with you. Action speaks louder than words as they say.

  7. Sometimes you can tell if you hold your hand up to your mouth. Breathe into your hand and then smell the air in your hand. You won’t necessarily always be able to tell this way, but it could work.

And make sure that you brush regularly and always use a mint or something, especially after you eat something that could offend.

  8. They sell a little machine at Sharper Image that detects it. But licking the back of your hand and smelling that works too
