-=Me=- asked:
I brush my teeth two times a day, but even though, whenever my mouth is dry, I have a really bad breath. that’s mostly during school hours, because I never eat/drink there. When my mouth is not dry, it’s still bad, but not as much. So.. What can I do?
XD I know, Bubbly. In fact, at school we use shared desks, and I sit next to a girl. I hate talking to her because of my breath.

Floss, mouth wash or crew sum gun if u have too. Bad breath is not gonna be good with da ladies
THEY SELL A DRY MOT UH SPRAY OVER THE COUNTER THAT
YOU CAN USE DURING THE DAY – THAT SHOULD HELP BAD BREATH
Use mouth wash, use the new toothpaste with listerine strips in them or any strong minty toothpaste, carry strong minty gum at school so you can chew it when your mouth is dry, carry listerine strips anywhere you go… Just a few ideas… 😛
How old are you? What are your eating habits? You may need to do an intestinal/colon cleanse. There are many cleanses available but best one I found was “New Vitality” Colon & Body cleanse. Got rid of all my mucoid plaque and other toxic subtances from my alimentary and gastric tract. Felt 20 years younger and my chronic fatigue went away.
You need to be sure you’re brushing your tongue and using mouthwash when you’re brushing your teeth.
What you’re describing may be the result of what you’re choosing to eat and drink. Stay away from coffee and sodas, for example, and choose water or juices instead.
change your toothpaste, carry breathstrips, and a bottle of water.
uhhhhhhhhhh………..eat garlic? Lol just kiding. I always chew a strong mint gum. Try winterfresh or spearmint flavors. Helps with breath alot!!
Floss between your teeth every day
Brush both your teeth and tongue as often as possible
Visit your dentist and hygienist at least twice a year
Chew sugarless gum whenever your mouth gets dry
Drink lots of liquids such as water and avoid milk and coffee hich may causes bad breath
Eat more fruits and vegetables every day
Alcoholic beverages often cause bad breath
Avoid using tobacco products
Avoid sugary snacks between meals, which increase bacteria in the mouth
Try cutting down on strongly flavored or spicy food that may make your breath smell
Brush your tongue
Clean your dentures well regularly
Eat breakfast because it gets the saliva flowing and cleans the mouth
Rinse with water often
Are you flossing also? Flossing helps to removes food and plaque in between your teeth, where a brush cannot reach. If you haven’t flossed in a while, you may notice a little blood and that the floss may smell bad. Just be sure to do it once a day. And brush your tongue too.
You Must Also Floss
Well, a product called breath assure is made for that. If you have doo doo mouth that bad and the said product does not work make yourslelf a doc apointment. Sometimes it’s in your guts or some thing like that. try with some certs or tic tacs. Your teacher will frown on chewing gum in class, so try that. Also listerine makes those Acid tab things, you drop on your tongue. Also cut garlic and other stuff like that out of your diet for a couple of weeks.
drink water so you don’t get so much dry mouth and get a roll of life savers.
You should see your dentist – you may have a problem with your gums. The dentist could prescribe a mouth rinse for you, or be able to give you suggestions on what to do.
you may have some sinus issues–check with your dr.
Try getting one of those toothbrushes with the tongue cleaner. They say the tongue is the place where bad breath germs hide.
rinse with vodka!
i’m not kidding, it actually kills bacteria, and makes you feel a little happier, too!
scope mouthwash also works really well, although you’ve probably already tried this.
talk to your dentist, because you may have some sort of infection or bacteria growing and you should treat this if possible.
it’s also a good idea to stay hydrated–drink at least 3-4 bottles of water daily.
lots of mouthwash……go to your dentist, thats the best help.
Well that is exactly why. When your mouth gets dry your body automatically takes juies from your stomach. You know those gastric juices that are in your stomach? Well when your mouth gets dry, nothing can stop the scents from coming up. So all I can tell you to do is to keep liquid with you and some mints.
Floss, brush your teeth, scrape your tongue, rinse with a mouthwash of your choice. Avoid foods that make bad breath, like onions and garlic. If none of that helps, consult your doctor or dentist to see where the smell is coming from.
If you do a search on the internet using “bad breath” as your search term, you will find almost five MILLION references. Here’s a good place to start:
The odors from garlic and onions enter your blood stream and then it takes a couple of DAYS before you breathe it all off. As you do this, you will continue to have bad breath. You can only use a mouthwash or breath mint (sugarless) as needed to mask the odor. I have read a lot of answers here saying to eat parsley to get rid of garlic breath, but I have no personal knowledge about that. Try it.
Try brushing your tongue and the back of your tongue. Your dry mouth in not helping either. You could try something called BreathRX. You can ask your dentist about it. I dont think it’s available in stores.
