Bad breath is not common in any breed ever unless there are problems with their teeth and/or gums.
You have made a great decision to have her teeth cleaned at your vets. If they find any infection, excessive tartar, calculus, or gum recession, a good dental cleaning will help out immensely.

it is stomach ailments.dont keep switching foods,and stick to a good 1 once you notice the change for the better.MORE water.bottled.
It’s good that you have an appointment to get her teeth cleaned.
However, dogs need their teeth cleaned on a regular basis, which you can easily do at home, yourself.

Take the dog to the vet. There may be something that you can’t see. I helped with a dog that had a huge piece of gristle lodged in it’s throat for several months. It was still able to breathe and eat, but not much food at once. The bad part of this was that the dog had the obstruction so long, it developed scarring in it’s throat which caused it to be put to sleep a year later.
You may not see anything wrong, but any time there is a foul odor from the mouth, get the pet examined.
IF IT’S NOT THE TEETH AND GUMS IT HAS TO BE THE FOOD. IS THE DOGS EATING DRY OR VET? DOES DOG HAVE GAS? WET FOOD WILL CAUSE BAD BREATH AND GAS IN MOST SMALL BREEDS. IT COULD ALSO BE THE TREATS.
