I am looking for any reason except tarter build up as to why my dogs breath stinks so bad…brush them,give tarter treats, vet says tarter and teeth look good. It is not his teeth and his breath is horrific. Please help. Please, Please, Please do not respond with anything about teeth, I am looking for any other reason that people my know of. Thanks.
Just recently my dog (he is a pug) has been having really bad breath. It almost smells like fish. He keeps licking his nose like he has something in his mouth or like he just ate something. Last night it looked like pus coming from his mouth when he was drooling. It might not have been from him though because it was only a tiny bit, but I looked and there arent any abcesses in his mouth and his teeth look fine. I really don’t have money to take him to the vet. Its been hot here these past few days so hes been a bit lathergic and he hasnt been eating as much. Could it be keytones like when humans are hungry?
Any advice is great
i have a papillon and his breath never smelt as bad as it does now. this has been going on for a couple of months. We brush his teeth everynight and he doesnt eat anything that would smell (he doesnt eat dog food)
so what could be the problem?
my dog has some bad breath i know he is healthy cause i take him for all his cheak ups and he has got all his shots but what can i do at home? i know u can brush there teeth but is there specail brushes and paste for dogs?
